The hopeful news is that there are now vaccines, at least three of them. Tye has joined the legions of volunteers and National Health Service staff in rolling out the vaccines to everyone, all around the country there are numerous Vaccination Centres springing up wherever there is a building large enough to cope with multiple people social distancing, they start early in the morning and continue late into the night.
Yesterday on the 23rd March 2021 a national day of Reflection and Rememberance was declared. A Minute's Silence was held at 12 noon. With everyone around the country stopping to remember those lost to Covid 19. At 8pm a national Doorstep Candlelight Vigil was held. Tye has brought her candle to work and is taking a few moments to remember those who couldn't be saved, but also all those people, worldwide, who have suffered due to Covid 19. Either through loss of life or their complete loss of everything they have known. Jobs, freedoms, income, mental health, stablility - the list goeson. We are also giving thanks to all those who have helped to care for the sick, the elderly. those people in Key jobs who are working still to keep the country going. To all those working from home or not working at all, the children who have missed so much school
We remember those who have died and give thanks for those who have worked to save us.
Stay safe everyone.
