The shop is Jiajiadoll, and her items are exquisite, she specialises in Blythe sizes and some of the smaller BJDs but I was overjoyed to find Obitsu 11 in there too. Check her out, her items are truly stunning, and she's lovely to deal with, I paid for these on layaway and after three months they arrived, Such excitement in the household!
Look at the detail! It's just perfect!
The dolls of course had other ideas, try as I might Tye would NOT look right with the jeans and jacket combo, I tried every which way to get them to look good on her, even making her a nice new tee shirt, Nope. Gave up on the jacket and just put the jeans on her, NOPE. Tried every which way to get them to look ok but nope. Sheesh, a doll sure knows her mind sometimes! Then I tried them on our new boy, who STILL won't tell me his name, and BAM! Oookay then, so the jeans are for him, and Tye gets her favourite jacket to keep! It's a conspiracy, I tell you!
The jeans are so beautifully made, and I've never seen ripped jeans look so good in miniature!
Right down to tiny rivets and buttons!
So, two very happy kelly kids here! Thank you Jia!
Now for all you kelly kid fans out there, who don't like swapping bodies and prefer the Kelly 4'' body, I tried the jacket on one, it wasn't easy to get on, the sizing is made for Obitsu 11 which is finer in the body and narrower in the chest and waist than the Classic Kelly, the arms are longer on Obitsu too, but i managed, by dint of cheating (removing hands,, ouch!) to get a couple of shots of the jacket on a Kelly. The material pushes the lightly reattached hands off, so the photos are a bit wierd, sorry about that. You get the idea tho. Here's Jinny modelling it for us, it's ok, she got put back on her regular body afterwards, if it's any help the classic body with the jointed knees tends to have a slightly longer arm and that may well fit much better, Those are so few and far between here tho that I daren't sacrifice one precious body for the sake of a photo shoot.
Thats all for this time, thank you for reading :)
